| - Cachuma Lake Trout Derby: April 19-20, 2008 Representing Team Langer Insurance: Nicholas and Michael Langer along with Ryan Haag and Daniel Del do took 1st Place for the longest trout caught in the derby. The trout was caught by Nicholas Langer at a length of 26 3/8 inches and tipping the scales at 9lbs 6oz. Way to go guys! -Click Here for Pics |

We proudly practice catch and release! All bill fish and freshwater bass pictured below were released unharmed.
Most trout were released as well. Some of the other species of fish caught were kept for consumption only and in
limited quantities.
We strongly encourage you to practice catch and release when appropriate in order to preserve the fisheries for our

| - National Bass West: Castaic Lake: November 14, 2009 Nick Langer & Matt Friedrichsen fish their way into 6th place on Saturday morning. Saturday's turn-out was one of the biggest fields that National Bass West has drawn at Castaic. There were 51 teams competing for nearly $13,000 in prize money. Nick Langer & Matt Friedrichsen fished reaction baits to catch their 12.26 lb limit and hold their 6th place finish. Nick commented, "We had a bad draw; we were the 48th boat to launch and I was nervous about getting to my spots. When we got to our spot we had to wait to get position and when we finally did, it game over! We literally caught our winning limit by 8:30Am. The rest of the day we fished hard, but couldn't cull out any fish. It was a fun day, lots of fish and we were excited to cash a check in such a big field of excellent fishermen." |
